Michelle is an experienced solicitor dealing predominantly with family law matters including divorce and related financial claims and separation and financial arrangements for unmarried couples. Michelle aims to guide her clients to achieve a fair outcome in the most constructive and cost effective way possible, encouraging an amicable approach, but managing client expectations if this is not achievable and court intervention becomes necessary.
Michelle is a member of Resolution’s Parenting After Parting Committee and strives to encourage parents or other parties such as Grandparents who are involved in disputes relating to children, to place them at the centre of arrangements they make. Michelle advises on all aspects of private law children matters, aiming to help her clients to achieve an outcome which focuses on the needs of their children with a view to reducing conflict and helping the children through their family’s transition in the best way possible.
Michelle also advises on family matters at the beginning of a new relationship, including advising on pre/post nuptial and co-habitation agreements.
In her spare time, Michelle enjoys spending time with her three adult children and her grandson. Michelle also enjoys live music and also playing the saxophone, flute and singing in a small music group.
